We are an established Sarasota Day Spa that provides Skincare and, Holistic well-being services, in addition, we have now expanded our space to include Massage Therapy & Bodywork services for our existing and new clients.

We provide a beautiful ambiance and a 100% drama-free work environment, because not only is this spa a place where our clients Relax, Renew & Restore, but we also want the same for each member of our team.

We are looking for someone who is licensed, experience required for full time position, however newly licensed and new graduates welcome to apply.

You must LOVE what you do, so if you’ve reached a point in your career where what you do is just a job, this position will not be for you.

• Your essential duties will include performing professional quality massage and bodywork therapy within your scope of practice and licensing and always in alignment with our day spa policies and protocols, as you utilized approved modalities, in accordance with applicable state laws.
• Communication is key for this position, so you must be able to communicate with staff and clients effectively, both in oral and written communication.
• You must uphold client confidentiality, as our spa is HIPPA compliant.
• This is not a stuffy workplace, no one is an island, and we want you to have FUN and love working with us, however, our collective focus will be to uphold professionalism and a high standard of customer service when communicating and working with clients.
• You must have a minimum of 500 hours of massage therapy school and a certificate of completion.
• You must be willing to participate in continuing education to improve effectiveness.
• Satisfactory results of background and reference checks are a condition of employment.
• You must adhere to all applicable local and state licensing laws and regulations related to the massage therapy services provided, including following any applicable law pertaining to maintaining a current Massage License.
•  Knowledge of and experience in performing Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage is required, as well as knowledge of and experience in performing other modalities offered at Arajee Skincare.
•  Understands and believes in the healing benefits of massage therapy and bodywork.
  Additional responsibilities include:
• Assist in opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the spa (therapy rooms and common areas).
• Modalities: Swedish, Deep Tissue, hot stone, cupping, Aromatherapy. Prenatal therapy Additional certifications are always appreciated, Key focus, Do the Modalities that bring you the most joy.
• Always maintain a professional well-groomed appearance. (Uniform required)
• Assists in the promotion of health and wellness benefits to clients receiving massage therapy.
• We offer retail and Memberships, but we do not hard push either. No pressure No stress! Anything we sell is done with a friendly and helpful attitude. If it isn’t going to truly benefit the client, we don’t push it.
• You must be reliable and punctual in attendance and staff meetings.
• You must be able to Complete Wellness Chart i.e., SOAP. notes /documentation accurately and completely.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned
